What's Youth Activate About?
Youth Activate is headed up by Ben and Aubrey Bayliss, the National AFCM Youth Directors. Brendon and Cathie's years of experience in youth and children's ministry have shown their burning desire to see the younger generation move into greater and deeper levels of the Spirit.
Their aim is to inspire and equip young people with the tools of the gospel and through the power of praise and worship, to be all they can be in Christ.
Ben and Aubrey Bayliss have been involved in youth ministry for over 10 years in their hometown church of Wollongong, NSW. They have a passion to see our AFCM youth reach their full potential in Christ and in doing so reach the nations with their faith.
Ben has travelled to the nation of Vanuatu with his Senior Pastor, Chuck Mansu, where they have demonstrated the power of Christ through the preaching of the Word and the distribution of Kenneth E. Hagin teaching material. Ben's interactive, evangelistic-style preaching, along with his passion for music has seen hundreds of people, young and old, receive salvation and baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Aubrey is one of the senior worship leaders at their church where she is dedicated to seeing the body of Christ grow deeply in fellowship with their Creator, and with each other through the power of praise and worship. She has also been involved in a young parent support group which has seen many lives changed through the practical wisdom of God's Word.
Together, Ben and Aubrey have been involved in school and community outreaches where they have seen many lives touched by the power of God.
This is the generation that can truly make a difference. This is the generation that will literally go into all the world and preach the gospel. They will in the name of Jesus Christ fearlessly cast out demons, speak with new tongues, lay hands on the sick and see them recover. This is the generation that will truly see the glory of God.
